Location
The village of St. Pankraz is located in the southern part of Upper Austria, between Klaus an der Pyhrnbahn and Windischgarsten.
Our holiday home is conveniently situated just 5 minutes from the St. Pankraz exit (A9 Pyhrn Motorway), making it easy to reach while still offering a peaceful setting surrounded by nature.
Nationalpark
As a National Park community, St. Pankraz is located right next to the Kalkalpen National Park, one of Austria's most beautiful protected natural areas.
It is the perfect starting point for hiking adventures and for exploring the unspoiled beauty of nature, with countless trails leading through breathtaking mountain landscapes, forests, and alpine meadows.
Pyhrn-Priel
The region between the Totes Gebirge and the Sengsengebirge mountain ranges is a landscape to fall in love with.
Spectacular mountain scenery, gently rolling alpine meadows, sparkling ski slopes, snow-reliable peaks, and charming villages create the perfect setting for unforgettable experiences in every season.
Wintersports
Our region is home to two outstanding ski resorts, both accessible with a single ski pass:
- Wurzeralm in Spital am Pyhrn
- Höss in Hinterstoder
Our holiday home is ideally located between these two ski areas, making it the perfect base for your winter holiday. Whether you prefer perfectly groomed slopes, family-friendly runs, or breathtaking mountain views, both resorts are just a short drive away.
